Personally

I have lived in Greenland since 2001 with my husband, Joe. We raised three children there—our son Jake graduated from PHS and is proudly serving in the US Army. My daughter and son, Layne and Reece, also graduated from PHS. They are currently pursuing college degrees. I graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Cardiovascular Health & Exercise Physiology. I managed Employee Wellness Programs at Bell Atlantic in Boston and Teradyne in Nashua, and worked locally at Portsmouth Regional Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department as an employee wellness coordinator & per diem Exercise Physiologist. In 2011, I established my own personal training business in Greenland.

Community-wise

I have served as President of the Greenland Parent Organization and After School Enrichment Coordinator at Greenland Central School. I’ve helped raise money for Big Brother Big Sisters and organized a successful home fundraiser event for Seacoast Family Promise. Additionally, I’ve volunteered as a CCD/Faith Formation teacher, a tee ball coach, a greeter welcoming troops landing in Portsmouth with the Pease Greeters, a mental health program presenter for NAMI NH, and volunteered to help facilitate a Walk for Alzheimer’s Fundraiser event. I’m also a member of Braver Angels, No Labels, and NH Problem Solvers, non-partisan groups devoted to bridging divides. For fun, I enjoy tracing family history and genealogy, playing pickleball, attending live music events, and, of course, spending time with my family. My background and hobbies reflect my personality and commitment to our community’s betterment. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I am dedicated to serving District Rockingham 24 and making a positive impact on our community.

Lyn Leddy for State Representative NH - Greenland Rye
  • Mental Health Programs/Support
Increase mental health providers to reduce wait times and expand access to care. Promote the utilization of free mental health programs offered by organizations to raise community awareness and provide support. Create incentives for citizens to become trained volunteers, enhancing the capacity of mental health organizations to meet community needs.
  • Toxic State Legislature Atmosphere
Commit to independent voting, free from party pressures, ensuring all constituent voices are heard. Promote a collaborative legislative environment to bridge divides and pass effective solutions. Encourage a shift away from the "us vs them" mentality to foster unity and mutual respect among legislators.
  • Champion Trades | Technology | Military | Healthcare | Apprenticeship Career Pathways
Expand Career Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide students with skills and connections to high-paying jobs. Utilize Department of Labor Federal Funds to support CTE and apprenticeship programs and meet workforce demands. Reduce student debt by promoting alternative career pathways, ensuring affordability and job readiness for New Hampshire's youth.
  • NH has the 2nd oldest population in the US
Our youth are becoming more vital to NH's well being. We need to broaden opportunities for our youth to explore various job fields in demand and make NH an affordable place to live & thrive. My platform addresses how we can encourage our young people to take over existing jobs older residents are aging out of, create more jobs, plant roots here, reduce debt, contain costs, and attract more young people to NH. UNH ranks in the top 5 for most expensive state funded colleges in the US. This means our students are graduating with the most debt compared to students across the country. There are creative solutions we can implement to ease this debt without burdening taxpayers.

Please share with me your top issues and concerns in our district.

I want to hear from you!
